Welcome
A very warm welcome to our website!
The Danbury Neighbourhood Plan is being created by local residents, community groups and businesses and will help us shape how the parish changes in the coming years.
This website is to help you understand what the Plan means for our community and how you can get involved.
THANK YOU DANBURY RESIDENTS
A big thank you to over 600 residents who completed the Adult Questionnaire.
The job to analyse your replies has started to determine what you want the village to look like in the coming years.
Regular progress reports will be posted on our web site so please look out for them. If you gave us your email address, we will send you reports direct. If you want us to keep you informed, please advise us of your email address via the Contact page.
DANBURY’S UNDER 17s & BUSINESSES
The time to complete these questionnaires has been extended.
We need the views of Danbury’s under 17 residents and a separate Questionnaire is available here.
The views of our local businesses are also very important and a Businesses Questionnaire is available for completion here.
Please complete them by FRIDAY 11th SEPTEMBER.
Strategic Land Availability Assessment – Call for Sites
As part of the defined procedure for compiling the Neighbourhood Plan, the Steering Group is required to identify potential sites for all development. Chelmsford City Council has determined, during their recent consultation on its updated Local Plan, that Danbury will be allocated up to 100 houses to be built within the Parish between now and 2036.
Anyone who owns land or is anticipating developing within the Parish has the right to submit a site for consideration as part of the Neighbourhood Plan process. Submission of a site does not mean the site will be accepted for development.
How to submit a site. The Land Owners section of the web site gives full details how to submit a site including the required Submission Form.
All forms must be received by 9am on the 11th September 2017.
If you have any questions please contact Lesley Mitchelmore at [email protected] or telephone 01245 225111.
