The Project Team
The Project Team consists of local residents, businesses and organisations which hold a specific interest in the Danbury Parish and has the responsibility for drafting the Danbury Neighbourhood Plan.
The Project Team is composed of a Steering Group and currently three Working Groups with support from Danbury Parish Council as the 'qualifying body' responsible for the plan.
Anyone in the parish can join the Project Team or attend a meeting - please have a look at our Calendar of Events under 'Get Involved'
Steering Group
The role of the Steering Group is to deliver a Plan, that is reflective of the Community’s views. The Steering Group will meet every month until the Plan is approved by referendum.

Communications Group to:
- Encourage residents, businesses and others (stakeholders) with an interest to participate at all stages so that the Plan is informed by the views of stakeholders
- Prepare all communications so that stakeholders are kept fully informed of the progress in the preparation of the Plan.
Plan Writing Group to draft the Neighbourhood Plan.
Sites Group to:
- Complete the assessment of each site
- Appraise the views of residents via the results of the Questionnaire
- From 1 & 2 determine the sites which best meet the needs and wishes of the village.
